Frosty Freeze was bought in 1977 from a previous owner by a father and four sons. Today it is being run by two brothers, Mohammad and Morteza. Frosty Freeze is a wholesale ice cream distributor, supplying ice cream vans, and stores with single wrapped ice creams in approximately 133 novalty flavors, from more than 8 different suppliers. Frosty Freeze also sales; dry ice, wet ice, soda, chips, cheechron, pickles, nacho cheese, chili, candies, and honey buns.
Mohammad received a bachelors degree from University of Texas of Arlington in Electrical Engineering in 1975. With his knowledge he transformed Frosty Freeze into a self serve design. Becoming the only self serve in the area. Morteza recieved an associates degree from Kilgore College in Mathematics. Frosty Freeze expanded to five branches, including; Irving, Texas, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Austin,and Arlington,Texas. After 9 years of expansion Frosty Freeze downsized to only the Dallas Branch.
Frosty Freeze today has expanded their bussiness to include Cold Storage, and also sales ice cream vans, ice cream freezers, and music boxes for the ice cream vans.
